Wait…..why are you changing the Club?

Over the past several years, we’ve listened closely to how our members actually enjoy Old York Cellars. Not everyone visits the winery the same way, enjoys the same wines, or uses their membership benefits the same way every month. That inspired us to create a more flexible, experience-driven membership model designed around choice, value, and the way our members enjoy the winery today.

The new format to the Vintner’s club continues to allow members to receive the same products and benefits that were a part of the previous club, simply with more flexibility and savings.

What is changing with my membership?

Beginning May 27, Old York Cellars memberships will transition to a more flexible Cellar Credit-based program. Instead of receiving only traditional bottle club benefits, members will receive monthly Cellar Credits that can be used throughout the winery for wine, experiences, events, tastings, wine cocktails, and more.

More flexibility. More Value!

• You can absolutely continue to use Cellar Credits to receive your favorite bottle of Old York Cellars wine each month, or the curated package of “Featured Wines” every 6months as you did previously along with the same discounts for wine, food and entertainment you received previously.

• HOWEVER….you now have more flexibility as to how you use your Cellar Credits along with the additional benefits every time you visit!   For example, if you would rather use those credits towards a glass(s) of wine, wine pairing or other wine products such as a wine slushy or chocolate shot, you now have the ability to utilize your monthly Cellar Credits to enjoy Old York the way that work best for YOU.

Our goal was to create a club that feels more personal, more flexible and more connected to the different ways in which our members love to enjoy Old York Cellars & Vineyard.  You can find the full list of benefits and saving HERE.

Are there still two levels of membership?

Yes!  The two levels of membership are as follows:

OYC Insider– $24/month

For casual wine lovers who want great value and winery access throughout the year.

• 600 total Cellar Credits/month ($30 value in monthly wine credit): 
• Cellar Credits valid to purchase or receive discounts against regular-priced wine products
• 4 complimentary Club Member wine tastings each month
• Includes additional benefits and discounts outlined below

OYC Inner Circle – $45/month

A premium membership for those who want deeper perks, exclusive wines, and top-tier access.

• 1,200 total Cellar Credits/month ($60 in monthly wine credit):   
• Cellar Credits valid to purchase or receive discounts against regular-priced wine products
• 8 complimentary Club Member wine tastings each month
• Includes additional benefits and discounts outlined below

What are the products Cellar Points can be used for?

• No cover charge for table reservations during music weekends

Can I continue to receive the curated packages I enjoyed previously twice a year?

Absolutely!   Our goal was to create a club that feels more personal, more flexible and more connected to the different ways in which our members love to enjoy Old York Cellars & Vineyard.

If you would like to continue to receive the curated packages, you simply redeem your Cellar Credits to do so every 6 months as Cellar Credits carry over month to month. 

In addition, you will continue to receive all the benefits and discounts you previously received for great OYC wine, tastings, food prepared by our very own Chef Jose & pairings & Old York Cellars events all year long!

Will I still receive my complimentary wine tastings? :

Absolutely!

Vintner’s Club Insider members will continue to receive 4 complimentary tastings at either Old York Cellars Vineyard or our wine bar at Mr. Pop’s in Flemington.  In addition, members will also receive complimentary tastings at all Vintner’s Club tasting events.

Vintner’s Club Inner Circle members will continue to receive 8 complimentary tastings at either Old York Cellars Vineyard or our wine bar at Mr. Pop’s in Flemington.  In addition, members will also receive complimentary tastings at all Vintner’s Club tasting events.

Thursday Winemaker Tastings, Club Weekend tastings, On the Road events, and other member events are separate from, and in addition to the monthly complimentary tasting allotment.

Can I still receive bottles I am due as part of my existing membership?

Absolutely!  You can pick up the outstanding bottles which were part of your existing membership at any time. Any bottles already earned under your existing membership plan will remain available under your current club terms.

Are my membership benefits going away?

No. Your membership benefits are not going away. The new program is designed to give you more flexibility in how you use your membership benefits throughout the winery.

Cellar Credits cannot be used toward food purchases alone, cannot be applied toward private events, and cannot be combined with member discounted pricing.

Are complimentary tastings included with membership?

Yes.

OYC Insider members receive:
4 complimentary tastings per month

OYC Inner Circle members receive:
8 complimentary tastings per month

Complimentary tastings may be redeemed at Old York Cellars or at the Old York Cellars Wine Bar inside Mr. Pop’s in Flemington.

Can complimentary tastings be carried over?

No. Complimentary tastings reset monthly and unused tastings do not roll over.

Can members use complimentary tastings for guests?

Yes. Complimentary tastings may be used by members and their guests, however the member must be present at the time of redemption.

Do Cellar Credits expire?

Yes. Cellar Credits roll over month to month and remain valid for 24 months from the date they are issued.

Can I still receive the Semi-Annual Curated Packages?

Yes. The Semi-Annual Curated Packages and Vintner Club Blends are not going away. Members who enjoy our curated wine packages will continue to have enough Cellar Credits available through October to purchase those packages and may also have additional Cellar Credits available to enjoy throughout the winery.

Will I still receive my member discounts?

Yes. Members will continue to receive applicable member discounts on bottle and case purchases, select events, and other designated offerings. Cellar Credits cannot be combined with member discounts on the same item or purchase.

Can I still use my benefits for wine bottles?

Absolutely. Members may continue using their membership benefits toward the wines they already enjoy, while also having additional flexibility throughout the winery.

Do I need to do anything to transition my membership?

No action is required. Your membership will automatically transition to the new program beginning May 27.

Will members receive bonus Cellar Credits during the transition?

Yes. To help ensure a smooth transition to the new membership program, members will receive bonus Cellar Credits following their first membership payment under the new Cellar Credit system and again following their October membership payment.

Monthly members transitioning in May will receive their first bonus credits following their May membership payment. Semi-Annual members transitioning in June will receive their first bonus credits following their first payment under the new Cellar Credit program.

OYC Insider members will receive:
• 300 bonus Cellar Credits following their first qualifying payment
• 300 bonus Cellar Credits following their October membership payment

OYC Inner Circle members will receive:
• 600 bonus Cellar Credits following their first qualifying payment
• 600 bonus Cellar Credits following their October membership payment

Membership must remain active and in good standing at the time bonus credits are issued.

How do I check my Cellar Credit balance?

Members will be able to view their Cellar Credit balance through their member account and at the winery.

Can I upgrade my membership?

Yes. Members may upgrade between available membership levels at any time, subject to current membership offerings and availability.
