Next weekend, several New Jersey wineries will showcase their wines before a panel of judges — Old York Cellars won’t be among them. The people we aim to impress are our guests. Every bottle poured should be something we’re proud to put our name on. Great wine has always been, and will always remain, at the heart of Old York Cellars, but it’s crafted for the people who visit us, not for the wine industry.

Most guests come to enjoy our wines, celebrate special moments, catch up with friends, savor great food, listen to live music, discover a new favorite bottle, or simply spend a few beautiful hours in the vineyard. That’s the experience we’ve built. Chef José joined our team because great wine deserves great food, and that philosophy inspired the expansion of our wine and food offerings — from chef‑curated pairing dinners to Weekend Bubbly Brunch and weekly specials that keep guests returning.

The winery was designed for both wine lovers and wine novices. Guided tastings help guests learn more about wine, Comedy Nights offer a chance to share a bottle and some laughter, live music sets the perfect backdrop for vineyard views, cabanas create relaxed spaces for friends to gather, and wine cocktails, slushies, and zero‑proof mocktails ensure everyone has something they’ll enjoy.

Our Vintner’s Club grew from the belief that a winery should be part of people’s everyday lives, not just an annual outing. Members stop in for a glass after work, bring friends for brunch, celebrate milestones, try new pairing dinners, or spend an afternoon overlooking the vines. The club’s flexibility reflects how people truly enjoy a winery today.

Recognition for our wines is always appreciated, but awards aren’t the reason we do what we do.

The moments that matter most are the ones shared here — a couple celebrating an anniversary, friends discovering a new favorite wine, parents introducing their adult children to the winery, or Vintner’s Club members bringing another family because they want to share a place they love.
