Begin at Old York Cellars

Your experience starts at the winery. 9:30 am Check in begins at Old York Cellars before boarding a private chartered coach at 10 am for a quick five-minute transfer to the historic Ringoes Depot. No separate meeting point. No complicated logistics. It all begins here.

Where does the experience begin & end?

All guests check-in at Old York Cellars before boarding the private chartered coach to Ringoes Depot. The private chartered coach also returns guests from the Ringoes Depot to Old York Cellars winery.

Is transportation included?

Yes. A private chartered coach provides a short five-minute transfer between Old York Cellars and the historic Ringoes Depot and then back to the winery.

How long is the experience?

Are seats assigned?

Each reservation is seated together. Parties wishing to sit together should reserve under one booking reservation whenever possible.

What is the day's itinerary look like?

9:30am – Arrive at the winery & check in for your Wine Train Adventure

10:05 am – Shuttles to the Ringoes train station begin

10:45 am – Enjoy a round trip ride on the Black River & Western Railroad with two wine pairings onboard

12:15pm – Continue the Guided Wine Tasting & Lunch in our Vineyard Tent.

2:00pm – Time to enjoy the winery, visit our wine shop & relax.

Guests will need to pre-select the lunch when they purchase their tickets. The choices include:

Grilled Chicken Sandwich – Chicken Breast, Lettuce, Tomato & Bravas Sauce. Served on a European Style Baguette.

Marty’s Meatball Sandwich –  Pork & Beef Meatballs with Tomato Sauce and Los Cameros Cheese. Served on a European Style Baguette.

Galician Sandwich (V) – Manchego Cheese and Imported Quince Paste. Served on a European Style Baguette.

Paella Del Chef (GF) – Traditional Spanish rice dish made with Chicken, Chorizo, Grouper, and Shrimp

Old York Cellars has a generous amount of parking at the winery.  Parking at Old York Cellars is always free for all guests.

Can I purchase wine during the visit?

Yes – you can absolutely purchase wine to take home from Old York Cellars or to enjoy at the winery.

Can I book the Hunterdon Wine Express for private groups or corporate outings?
