White Wine Cheddar Biscuits
- 3/4 cup Old York Cellars What Exit White
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup butter, cubed
- 1/2 cup Cabot Cheddar Cheese, shredded
- 2 garlic cloves, minced (optional)
Preheat your oven to 410°F
Sift together flour and baking powder then and the salt. Cut the butter into small cubes add it to the flour mixture. Mix until the mixture becomes a crumble texture.
Add the Old York Cellars What Exit White, cheddar, and garlic. Mix just until all the ingredients are incorporated.
Remove from mixing bowl and place onto floured surface. Sprinkle some flour onto to top of the dough and roll out to about 1/2 inch thickness with a rolling pin. Cut with a floured biscuit or cookie cutter and place onto a lined baking tray.
Bake in preheated oven for approximately 12 minutes.
